At Viet Lam Global, our core message is simple: From Growing Regions to Global Buyers.
For us, this does not mean only selling a finished carton of spices. It means staying close to the origin and coordinating the commercial journey from raw material sourcing through harvest, processing, grading, packing and shipment.
01 — Growing Regions: Direct Access to Origin
Our sourcing starts in Vietnam’s agricultural regions, with a strong focus on northern Vietnam for products such as star anise and cassia cinnamon.
Working close to the source gives us better visibility of crop conditions, raw material availability and seasonal changes. It also allows buyer requirements to be communicated earlier in the sourcing process.
02 — Harvesting & Processing
Raw materials are collected according to crop maturity, season and the intended commercial grade. Depending on the product, the next stages may include cleaning, drying, cutting or other processing required to prepare the material for grading.

The objective is to move from agricultural raw material to an export-ready product without losing sight of the agreed buyer specification.
03 — Grading & Packing
After processing, products are sorted and graded according to the confirmed commercial specification. Parameters may include appearance, size, moisture, broken ratio, roll ratio, dust or foreign matter depending on the product.

Packing is then prepared according to the order. Examples include 5–10 kg cartons for star anise, 10 kg cartons for selected cigarette cassia, 25 kg PP bags for broken cassia, and other formats agreed with the buyer.
04 — Loading & Global Delivery
Before shipment, the order is checked against the agreed packing and commercial requirements. Goods are then prepared for container loading and export documentation.
Viet Lam Global can prepare quotations under commonly requested trade terms such as FOB, CFR/CNF or CIF, depending on the destination and shipment conditions.

Why This Model Matters for Buyers
A shorter and more transparent sourcing chain can improve communication about crop availability, grade and preparation. It also gives international buyers one commercial point of contact from sourcing through shipment.
Our aim is not to make unrealistic claims that every agricultural step is identical from crop to crop. Our aim is to stay close to the source, manage each stage carefully and communicate clearly with buyers.
Final Thought
From the source, through preparation, to your market — this is how Viet Lam Global wants international buyers to experience Vietnamese spices.
